Guillaume Maillard (French) has been in the finance and entrepreneurship industries since 2000. He worked for Lazard and Arthur Andersen, then spent 12 years within the Edmond de Rothschild Group (2008-2019). There, he founded Moringa a $100m impact agroforestry fund investing across Africa and Latin America.

Moringa screened over 700 investment opportunities and made 8 investments in various sectors (including cashew nuts, coffee, coconut water, heart of palm, moringa powder and oil, pineapple and mango juice, etc.). He played an active role as a board member of Moringa and of invested companies. He developed an important network of customers in Europe and the USA for the supply of tropical products, in particular in the organic market.

James Powell (British) is a successful manager with over 30 years experience in sub tropical farming, forestry, development and conservation projects in Africa, most recently 16 years in Tanzania. A team player with hands on management experience and a proven ability to train and motivate employees.

A record of financial and management achievements recognised by awards and followed by appointments to National Agricultural Associations and sponsorship.

He has been managing farms in Zimbabwe and Tanzania and has grown crops such as macadamias, coffee, maize, tea, passion fruits, flowers, bananas and tomatoes.
