Pamoja is a European-based company with a solid presence in East Africa. We have over five decades of experience in African agribusiness, backed up by a professional and qualified on-the-ground team.
We are a vertically integrated company with direct control of all levels of our operation from farming all the way through to distribution. We adhere to the highest standards of international certification and traceability.
We aim to become the leader in sustainable macadamia nuts production and an important contributor to long term economic and social development in the areas where we operate.
We are an inclusive and socially-motivated company who sees sustainable agriculture as providing a fair economic return across all of the value chain, from small-scale farmers to the processors as well as the retailers.
Our responsibility is to use the knowledge already available about sustainable farming, to develop & test new concepts and then to share this knowledge to enable a greater impact on the whole industry.
Our Macadamia Processing Plant
We operate a state-of-the-art processing plant in Nairobi, Kenya, where we process the nuts that have been collected from our 5,000 smallholder farmers. From here they are exported to our customers all over the world.
Our Farms
We work with over 6000 smallholder farmers in both Kenya and Tanzania, providing seedlings, training and certification. Our strong support helps improve livelihoods and futures.
